Motivate Yourself: "Chase Your Dream"

About two years ago one of my friends introduced me to this motivational speech, and I immediately fell in love with its message. Whenever I feel as if I will never succeed, can't overcome life's obstacles, or just want to hear how possible dreams are, I listen to it.

The speeches of three intelligent and impactful men (Martin Luther King Jr, WIll Smith, Eric Thomas) are combined to encourage, rebuke, and ultimately motivate the listener/viewer. They remind us to never give up on a dream and to be a better person by being who each of us truly are.

What is hindering you from chasing after your dream? Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech is largely included within this motivational talk, and he says there are two reasons people don't go after their dream: fear of failure and fear of success. To achieve your dream you have to consciously remove these fears and embrace perseverenc, self-worth and passion.

"It's hard changing your life," Martin Luther said. Chasing after your dream will not be easy. You'll face disappointment and people won't always agree with you or stand by you, but "don't let anyone steal your dream".

Everyone has a dream, even if they won't admit to havig one. It's time to start living your dreams and pursuing them. Why wait? Use this speech to motivate you. Listen to it throughout each week if you need to. I want us all to be in a place where we can say...

"It's not over until I win."

Live your dream.
